* Pass-through of I and Q data
This feature allows use of an application
such as SDR Sharp with an SBS-3, while
retaining most of the normal BaseStation
  functionality, including the radar display
  and aircraft list.
To use this feature with with the SBS-3,
BaseStation must be connected to the SBS-3
using Ethernet rather than the USB port.
This is because the required data rate is
higher than that supported by the SBS-3's
  USB port.

BaseStation:

New Functionality

* Supports audio streaming of the SBS-1eR
internal radio interface using RTSP and
  RTP/UDP network protocols
See the Built-In Radio section of the
  reference manual for details
* No longer requires a license key to use
  the external radio interface
* Added a new menu option:
  Settings > Reload > Flags
to reload the countries, country flags
  and operator flags
* New settings to enable the processing
  of TIS-B, ADS-R and non-ICAO 24-bit
  addresses.
See the description in the Data Settings
  section of the Reference Manual.
* No longer requires a restart of
  BaseStation when switching between USB
  and network connection,
  or when changing network parameters.

Fixes

* Changed the default colours for the
"user" outline types to ones that better
  suit the hi-res outlines.
* Improved the handling of squawk codes and
  callsigns for non-ADS-B aircraft to
reduce the likelyhood of assigning a
  code to the wrong aircraft.
This is because these codes are obtained
  from Mode-S radar surveillance
replies which have less built-in error
  checking than ADS-B messages.
* Different handling of non-ICAO addresses
in order to avoid database errors.
See the description in the Data Settings
  section of the Reference Manual.

(TCAS replies) - can allow altitude to be
shown for non-ADS-B aircraft even when
they are outside Mode-S radar cover.
  Currently applies to SBS-1eR only.
Requires firmware version 517 or later.
* Decoding of TIS-B and ADS-R messages
in the U.S., when in sight of a
  suitable ground broadcast station.
  Currently applies to SBS-1eR only.

* You can set the range rings to have a
fixed physical radius (by default, this is
5, 10, 20 and 40 nautical miles).

allowing a view to be set to track the
current lat lon.

* Updated to the newer 3.5.4 version of the
database engine.

BaseStation:

- The SBS Link Tester now gives more
extra information when the link test fails -
this required the link code to be slightly
changed, and since BaseStation uses the same
code, it required very minor modification.

- The button to test/demonstrate the error
reporting mechanism that was on the debug
screen has been removed (because it confused
people).

Reporter:

- You can now sort on UserNotes in the
Sessions Flights grid without causing
problems.

- When queries are opened (either on load
or refresh) the debug screen reports on
whether or not it is successful (this is to
aid troubleshooting of problems).

- It does a pragma integrity check on the
database at startup and reports any errors
to the debug screen (this is to aid
troubleshooting of problems).

- The debug trace of any error reports
produced by an error during database
packing is now correct.

- The errors report dialog now timestamps
the error trace.

- The button to test/demonstrate the error
reporting mechanism that was on the debug
screen has been removed for the same
reasons as for BaseStation.

- The interested column can now be directly
edited without the risk of putting in the
wrong format (it accepts all permutations
of 1/-1, 0, y, n, yes, no, t, f, true and
false).

Link Tester:

- Reports extra information when the link
test fails.
